Over 25 years ago, I made my second long-distance move in a few years which led me to the decision that I had found my home in the Chapel Hill area. After “retiring” from environmental consulting and decades of traveling for Government clients, I chose to stay close to home and enter the real estate market to transfer my skills to a more local arena, using both personal and professional experiences to help others make life-changing moves.
My youngest daughter started kindergarten in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro school system and recently completed her Ph.D., so I’m familiar with our wonderful schools and have the greatest respect for our hard-working teachers. My older children and grandchildren moved here from the Midwest and have enjoyed adapting to the Triangle lifestyle.
Since moving here I’ve immersed myself in the Chapel Hill/Durham community and am continually amazed by the diversity and interests that our population represents. I’ve worked continuously to support the non-profit organizations that share my values and goals in life. I’ve volunteered for years with Habitat for Humanity Restores, animal rescue organizations, as a Guardian ad Litem for the Orange County court system, and for the local American Red Cross chapter. I fully embrace Franklin Street Realty’s mission of being “Connected to the Community.”
The Chapel Hill/Durham real estate markets are vibrant and dynamic and we at Franklin Street Realty have the pulse of the area firmly in our grasp. My greatest reward is to smooth those stressful transitions to new places, so whether you’re interested in Orange, Durham or Chatham Counties, I will work tirelessly as your partner to help navigate real estate transactions effectively and efficiently.
